The Calen District State College Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program (BYOD letter 70KB) gives freedom to students and their families to tailor their choice of technology to their own educational needs.

The bring your own device user charter (PDF, 525kb) needs to be agreed to and signed before students are permitted to bring their device to school and have it connected to the school facilities. Students and parents/carers need to carefully read the BYOD User Charter prior to signing it. Any questions should be addressed to the school and clarification obtained before the charter is signed. Please return all paperwork to the school’s office.

The bring your own device handbook (PDF, 257kb)  covers what BYOD is, benefits of the program, minimum device specifications, and other related aspects of the program.

All state school students from Prep to Year 12 can now download multiple free copies of the Microsoft Office Suite to their personal home and mobile computer equipment. For more information regarding free Office software, visit the Microsoft Education website.
