You are invited to a Weather Forecasting Event – Be A “Real Life” Forecaster!

Learn how severe storms are formed with Stephen Clague, an avid storm and tornado chaser and a CSIRO STEM Professional in Schools. See how forecasters use models and data to predict the weather. Use these models to predict possible tornadoes in the USA!

For? Years 6-12 students and parents/guardians with a love for science; Interested school staff

When? 4.30pm-6pm, Friday June 22

Where? Room A8 at Calen District State College. 38 McIntyre Street, Calen (off highway)

What to bring? Water, snacks, a pen

Please leave your email for a Certificate of Participation on the night. Participation in the evening meets AITSL Standards 6.2 and 7.4 for teaching staff.
