What a fortnight we have had in our room! All of our students are working extremely hard finishing their assessment pieces. We have been exploring new concepts in maths such as data and probability. There have been some great story writing by our students in their diaries and magical stories.
Some students are participating in the TEACCH Program, which is an educational platform with activities designed for students to assist them with their motor, verbal and cognitive skills. This week our students discovered the threading co-ordination technique, as well as social studies where they learnt to understand how emotions make us feel.
Last week we have had a birthday celebration for one of our students. In the last few weeks of this term we have been busy undertaking Easter activities.
Well done to Alison and Milly who received the Classroom Merit and Student of the Week awards, for the hard work they both displayed over the week. Also congratulations to Emily and Travis who won these awards the previous week.
Have a great break during the school holidays - happy Easter from Mrs Donovan, Mrs Durnsford and Mrs Jones!
Like we always say, we all learn in different ways, we are unique!
