Year 4/5/6 camp

1/09/2017

The year 4/5/6 camp is scheduled for the end of this term and we are sure all of the students are looking forward to it.  Mrs White, Mrs Jones, Mrs Hansen, Mr/Mrs Drier and Mrs Rankin will be accompanying the 34 students.  All students should have paid their deposit at the end of last term and the final payment should have been made by the 1st August 2017.

Listed below is an itinerary and a recommended list of items for the camp.  Phone and other electronic devices are allowed but students will only have limited times when they can utilise these, these devices will be the responsibility of the students.  If these devices are used inappropriately, they will be confiscated for the duration of the camp.  Mrs Rankin will have the school phone, so in an emergency she can be contacted on 0475 835 487.

Students may bring a small amount of money to purchase mementos or other items.  This money will be the students’ responsibility.  All meals have been covered in the cost of the camp, so no money is required to purchase food.

Students will require sleeping bags as they are sleeping on mattresses at Reef HQ and Billabong Sanctuary.  These venues are also supplying meals; a medical form has been sent home so any dietary needs can be catered for.  Medication can be handed to supervisors on the day of the camp, however a medical form must be completed by parents before any medication can be given and all medication must have a pharmacy label.  This form can be obtained from the office.  Students will need to carry their own Ventolin and their Asthma action plan if they require it.
